I cannot recommend Mackenzie's place enough. When I walked in it looked just like the pictures but BETTER. I was overwhelmed by the beautiful view, stylish space, and lovely touches throughout the house. I truly could have cried because it was so perfect. Mackenzie and Kari have impeccable taste. From the dish ware to the bedding...everything was BEAUTIFUL. The house was cozy and warm and made for a perfect anniversary trip for my partner and I. In addition they provided great local tips! The Jenner Headlands Preserve is a 10 min walk from the house as are a couple local spots for dining and wine tasting. I'm not the type to visit a place more than once but two nights wasn't enough at Pelican Hill House and I hope to go back soon!

What an Airbnb gem! Mackenzie was so responsive before and during the stay and the house was even more stylish and beautiful in person. My girlfriends and I really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and the thoughtful touches throughout like extra toiletry items and snacks. The views from the house are truly breathtaking and I hope to return next time with my husband!

Mackenzie’s place is a tranquil and beautiful space in the middle of a rustic town. The space is clean, very classy and invokes a sense of hygge :). Mackenzie has thoughtful touches all over the house — with the guidebook, well stocked kitchen, vintage board games and really well done interiors. The interior design experience shows! And it’s definitely a stylish pad. The telescope is an added bonus. Though we didn’t use the classic fireplace or the grill; we appreciated the features. The sheets are warm, the bed is Uber comfy and Mackenzie has made sure you have everything you need in the home to not have you step out for anything. The place is much more beautiful in person than in the photos here. Definitely coming back!

This place is majestic. A quick escape from the hustle and bustle of the city into this tranquil, perfectly curated home. The views take your breath away, seeing both ocean and river in one glance. There are birds with 5ft wing spans flying at eye level, waves crashing in the distance, and at night stars as bright as can be. Awesome hiking is right in the back yard of this neighborhood and quant dining just down the street. The short drive to the beach offers both river and beach access which is perfect for our family. We look forward to returning for either a weekend getaway or a week+ long stay. The hosts have truly thought of it all to make your stay as cozy and comfortable as possible. Pelican Hill House is a true gem.
