Things around Jenner
We love the remote yet close-to-things feel that Jenner brings. San Francisco is an hour and a half south, Bodega Bay is 30 min south, Gurnville is 20 min east. Jenner is set far enough away from the city but close enough to pop into town for dinner or a movie.

Kayaking, paddle boarding, river floating, hiking, even horseback riding … the coast is full of adventures! We recommend renting a kayak down by the general store for a relaxing afternoon paddling along the river.

If you don’t want to drive, we recommend you walk down the street to Tasting by the Sea and sit on the patio to enjoy the view. If you’d rather grab a bottle and enjoy it at the house, the Jenner General store actually has an excellent selection of local wines.

There are so many cute towns around Jenner. Our favorites include Dunkins Mills, Monte Rio, Guerneville, Occidental, and Fort Ross. Pick a town and take an afternoon to explore the cute shops and restaurants.
